Absolutely brilliant

So is the Solo worth a purchase? Yes it is. This is an absolutely brilliant invention which will make your life far easier when you need a stand but don’t want to put up with the hassle of having a bulky case around it all of the time.

iPads are wonderful devices. Not only can use them for countless games for fun and business applications to make your life easier, they are also wonderful for running business presentations through or kicking back and watching a good movie. Now, for the latter two tasks you are most likely going to want a stand. My major gripe here is that almost all of the stands on the market require a case of some description to be wrapped around the iPad. Not only does this destroy the aesthetics but can actually make carrying the iPad in normal use quite cumbersome. Let me introduce you to the ZeroChroma ‘Solo’. This is the world’s first mountable stand that doesn’t involve a case.

So what is the ZeroChroma Solo all about? Well, to put it in the simplest way possible this is a mount which attaches to the back of your iPad device (it fits second, third, and forth generation models of the iPad). It is held in place with an adhesive made by 3M. However, don’t worry it doesn’t need to be on there all of the time. This is a high bond adhesive which is demountable, and thus you can remove it whenever you want (within reason). However, there really is no need to remove it. It has rather small ‘footprint’ and thus you will be able to hold the iPad in your hands without it being detrimental at all. In addition to this, it is small enough to fit into bags and sleeves.

Once you fold out the Theater-Stand you will be able to use your iPad in either landscape or portrait mode. This is different than quite a few of the cases on the market which limit you to landscape mode only (unless you want a pretty unstable tablet). This I feel is one of the major benefits of the ZeroChroma Solo and it is certainly worth a purchase for this feature alone.

In addition to this the Theater-Stand rotates 360 degrees and thus you can have it in a multitude of different positions. There are eleven pre-set viewing angles within the Solo, which again is better than some of the other stands on the market. With the Solo you are well equipped.

To cap it all off, the foot of the Theater-Stand acts as a great handle for when you are holding your device to use it, and this is an absolutely fantastic feature as it just feels so natural to do.

So is the Solo worth a purchase? Yes it is. This is an absolutely brilliant invention which will make your life far easier when you need a stand but don’t want to put up with the hassle of having a bulky case around it all of the time. The best part is, for many people this is a great affordable iPad stand, so grab it whilst you still can!

This is great! I hope it's not heavy or else I won't buy this. I'll wait till this hit the stores then.

Sheets how can you tell or how do you know that the adhesive is reusable? I was hoping it was made by a similar sticky solution or product like the Case-Mate Tuxedo.
