I saw the pictures on the Apple website. The display looks stunning! How will all-flash storage work for a laptop, though? I thought it was just something for tablets. Anyway, it is getting time to replace my old Macbook Pro, and this may just be the one!

 @Halpal The display definitely looks impressive, and to think that it has more pixels than an HDTV is mind-boggling!

 

Using flash memory is possible with pretty much anything, but since it is more expensive, till now it was only used with tablets which have a comparatively smaller disk size.

 @bledred Amazing! More pixels is amazing too. I can't wait to see the real thing and not a video of it. I really thought that flash memory was for tablets too - not anymore. Wonder what this will cost?

2880x1800 is a monstrous resolution! Two Thunderbolt I/O ports, 3 USB 3.0 ports, all-flash storage, what more could you possibly want in a portable? this Mac is definitely going to be the granddaddy of all computers!
