Facebook Camera for iOS

Facebook Camera for iOS

Move over Facebook photo sharing, and stand aside Instagram. For the longest time, Facebook users have been looking for the most convenient way possible to share their photos on their news feeds within Facebook. This usually required signing up for an outside application that would simply post a link to your photos that are posted on another site. Now, there’s an iPhone app that allows you to not only edit your photos with the same great overlays as most applications, but gives you the power to upload entire albums to you website and tag your friends in pictures at the same time.

If you’ve ever used the Facebook iPhone app to upload photos, you already know that it can be a tedious process. Repeatedly adding the same photos to your “Mobile Uploads” album has long been considered one of the more annoying features of Facebook. Now, you can select multiple photos and create new albums right on your phone with the Facebook Camera App. Simply browse your camera roll and press the check mark on the top right corner of each photo to bulk add them to your uploads. You can add captions and select a location as well.

When you select your pictures, you’re also given the chance to add the effects of Instagram. The recent purchase of Instagram by Facebook has led to the ultimate culmination of this iPhone app. With several overlay styles available for you to choose from, you can enhance the colors and shadows on your pictures, giving them the exact look and feel that you were going for when you took the picture.

If your friends are avid fans of posting photos, you can also use the Facebook Camera app to view only photos that have been posted by your friends. This eliminates annoying posts that you’re simply not interested in reading and sticks to photos that have been uploaded directly through Facebook applications.

Until now, photo sharing was a complete hassle. With the inability to post multiple photos at the same time, users simply slowed down their photo sharing, which often resulted in boring news feeds for all other users. The Facebook Camera app has taken photo sharing to the next level. Make sure to head over to the app store and download your Facebook Camera app today. As the Instagram changeover continues, we’ll certainly see even more features come out of this already powerful app.

Facebook Camera is free in the App store.

This sounds great. Spontaneity is what makes a social network interesting, so having obstacles to uploading your photographs quickly can lead to not uploading the photos at all. So an app to make it faster is a good idea.

All this while, I was using Instagram for sharing photos on Facebook. All in all, it is a decent app and serves the purpose. I think I 'll give Facebook Camera App a try. I would like to know if there are some things in Facebook Camera App which aren't there in Instagram.
