Disabling In-App Purchases
Are you tired of inadvertent expenses arising as the result of in-app purchases on your iOS Device? Then you’re in luck; there’s a way to turn that feature off.
If you regularly download and test new apps, you know that many of them contain links that enable you to unlock features, purchase a fuller version, or buy additional components. This has resulted in more than a few unexpected charges to iOS users It has been a particular problem for parents who allow their children to use an iOS Device.
To disable in app-purchases, you will need to enter your iOS settings. The “Settings” app came preloaded on your iOS Device and its icon looks like a series of gears. with in settings, click on “Restrictions.” Assuming you have a passcode, a box will open for you to enter it. In the next window, scroll down to “In-App Purchases” and turn the option off.
That’s it. with in-app purchases now disabled, you won’t have to worry about those unexpected charges popping up on your credit card bill again.
