So is Bad Piggies worth purchasing? Yes, it is. It is one of the most addicting games I have ever played, and it is so much better than Angry Birds.

The success of Angry Birds has of course led to many sequels. Despite the changes which were implemented in Angry Birds: Space, the concept was becoming a little bit tired. This is why I was excited when Rovio started teasing us with a brand new game. This time however, it would take place from the ‘eyes’ of the evil Piggies. Trust me, this game is like nothing you have ever seen before, and yes, it is amazing.

Like the Angry Birds games, the concept behind Bad Piggies is incredibly simple. It does get increasingly complex later on though, especially if you are looking to complete all the objectives in the game, and of course get those precious stars. As a result, prepare to get very stressed with this game! (albeit in a good way!)

The basic gameplay around Bad Piggies is to help the pigs to build transportation in order to get them to the finish line. You will have a number of different implements to do this, with more being added later on in the game. This concept has been seen before in other games, but, in my opinion Bad Piggies has perhaps the most fun implementation of it.

Like in Angry Birds, in order to fully complete a level you will need to gain every single star. However, the key difference is that these stars aren’t points based. Instead, they are objective based (this really adds to the fun!) and most of the time you won’t be able to grab all of these stars during one play. All levels include a single star for completing a level, and another star for grabbing the star icon. However, the third star is perhaps one of the most fun to obtain.  The way in which you will be obtaining this star varies from level to level. For example, the early levels require you to reach that finish line within a certain time limit, or without blowing up any TNT. This is great for creative people as you WILL need to change the design of your vehicle if you want to grab every single star in a level. There really is many hours of fun to be had right here!

You will get stuck in the game from time to time, however, you won’t be left scratching your head for too long. You have the option to purchase a mechanic pig who will create a vehicle for you. This will help you get to the end of the level, but it won’t get all of the stars for you. Instead, you will need to tweak the design a little (this is where your creative skills come into play!)

There is so much packed into Bad Piggies. This includes the standard 60 levels, which will take many weeks to blast through adequately. On top of this, you have 4 sandbox levels which are perhaps some of the most difficult levels I have ever played, as well as 30 bonus puzzles which can be unlocked as you earn three stars on certain levels. On top of this, you also have secret bonus level which can be obtained when you gain all of the skulls in the game.

So is Bad Piggies worth purchasing? Yes, it is. It is one of the most addicting games I have ever played, and it is so much better than Angry Birds. Couple this with the amount of levels you have at your disposal and this is going to be one of the most fun games that you have ever played.

I came across this game on another website and have been thinking about buying it ever since. I was slow to jump on the Angry Birds bandwagon but once I did, I fell in love with the game and have been trying other similar games ever since. Glad to see this one was so highly reviewed.

This game sounds like it's really fun to play! Just out of curiosity, do the angry birds show up in Bad Piggies the way the pigs show up in Angry Birds?
